The Defense of Marriage Act

If you supposedly want to defend the holiness of marriage by suppressing gay people, forbid adulterers from getting married again. After all, adultery is in the ten commandments; homosexuality is not.

This is not Iran. The U.S. is supposed to be a free country--not a country in which the government instills morality laws among its citizens. The first amendment is ironic considering some of man's laws invoke an essence of religion.

Dear "Christians,"

For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.
 1 Timothy 6:10

These rich politicians that are supposedly Christian spend most of their time complaining about homosexuality and all these other "sins," but they don't realize that their self-indulgent behavior goes against their Christian beliefs. They just love capitalism, but this system has allowed those in charge to give a free pass to the wealthy who exploit the working class and the poor.
