The Defense of Marriage Act

If you supposedly want to defend the holiness of marriage by suppressing gay people, forbid adulterers from getting married again. After all, adultery is in the ten commandments; homosexuality is not.

This is not Iran. The U.S. is supposed to be a free country--not a country in which the government instills morality laws among its citizens. The first amendment is ironic considering some of man's laws invoke an essence of religion.
